Why Mill Green

The course cuts through lakes and woodland and benefits from USGA specification greens, tees and approaches as well as a fully automated irrigation system. The course has also completed a new renovation, remodelling the bunkers, adding a new lake in front of the green of the par-5 7th along with much more.

With excellent drainage, the course is always more than playable in the winter. We never use winter tees or play on temporary greens, unlike many of our neighbouring courses, so The Club at Mill Green is a fantastic option for winter society golf.

“‘I was recently invited to play this course, having not played it for a few years. I was pleasantly surprised at the marked improvement in both the layout of the course and the overall quality of the golf course and facilities. The fairways were in great condition. The greens were immaculate and running true with a number having been chequered by the grounds staff. I am not sure you could find better value for money than Mill Green. I have since played the course 5 times and encouraged a good friend of mine to hold his annual golf day there, for which the staff have been very attentive to his needs.’”
